How to play When You Say Nothing At All by Alison Krauss

“When you say nothing at all” is a country song written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz first made famous by Keith Whitley in 1988 and then covered by Alison Krauss in 1995. Keith Whitley tragically died in 1989 Alison Krauss included her version on a tribute album to Whitley titled Keith Whitley: A Tribute Album.

This version of the song features an arpeggio style chord progression using added 9ths on the D and G chords and a 4th degree on the A major.
